Defect

Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. (Sumitomo) is recalling certain Dunlop TT93FGP PRO and TT93FGP PRO MS motorcycle tires, size 120/80-12 55J and 100/90-12 49J. During manufacturing, some of the sidewall compound may have contaminated the tread surface, reducing the tire's traction.

Consequence

Tires that do not provide sufficient traction increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective action

Dealers will replace the tires or provide reimbursement, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on October 7, 2025. Owners may contact Sumitomo customer service at 1-800-845-8378.
