Defect
Cummins, Inc. (Cummins) is recalling certain PD7000 Electric Drive, part number BES CM0904 EV104B. The System Control Module (SCM) software error may cause a stationary vehicle to move unexpectedly.
Consequence
Unintended vehicle movement increases the risk of a crash.
Corrective action
Dealers will update the SCM software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 8, 2026. Owners may contact Cummins customer service at 1-800-286-6467.
