Defect

Warn Industries, Inc. (WARN) is recalling certain Wireless Remote Kits with part numbers 90287 and 90289. The wireless handheld remote control may be incompatible with some legacy winches, causing the unexpected winch movements.

Consequence

A winch that operates unintentionally may increase the risk of injury.

Corrective action

Warn will reimburse customers as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 15, 2026. Owners may contact WARN customer service at 1-800-543-9276.
